| LUMITECH – Your competent partnerLUMITECH Produktion und Entwicklung GmbH was established as a spin-off of the Technical University of Graz in the year 1997, and has been able to gain extensive experience in LED technology since that time. |
Our engineers have been successfully involved for many years in the following fields: lighting engineering, semiconductor technology, Chip On Board module design (COB) & packaging, thermo management, additive colour mixing - in particular white light production - chemistry, colour conversion, cover materials for LED chips, especially designed adhesives and coatings for the production of LED modules, optics, development of electronics & firmware solutions for various communication technologies for controlling lighting applications such as 1-10V, DMX, DALI or the radio standard ZigBee, as well as for the development of application software for light control.
Numerous patents attest to well-founded know-how in the field of LED technology and chemistry. Cooperation with research institutions such as with the Technical University of Graz and Joanneum Research, as well as ongoing further development of solutions and products make LUMITECH a very competent partner indeed.
LUMITECH was awarded the Austrian National Award for Innovation in the year 2007 for its energy-efficient and forward-thinking LED technology.
