LED Light Engines

For shops & museums: food items, clothing, jewellery, exhibits, etc. – perfect illumination makes for more sales.

LED Light Engines from LUMITECH consist of a COB LED module and a light management system and are based on the PI-LED^® technology developed by LUMITECH. They are conceived as light sources for installation in luminaires and represent the right products for luminaire manufacturers who would like to supplement their product portfolio in the LED segment with innovative solutions. In addition to energy efficiency and long service life, LED Light Engines from LUMITECH also provide features such as individual control of the light colour with excellent colour rendering at the same time.

The right presentation creates value.

The illumination of products or exhibits in the right light colour allows them to appear fresher and more attractive, and can therefore increase their value and as a result, increase sales. Examples of this would be “meat-red” or “cheese-yellow” for the illumination of food items, cool-white light for blue shoes, warm-white light for orange clothing, the correct colour temperature for silver jewellery and UV/IR-free and thus gentle lighting for sensitive exhibits in museums.

Indvidual light colours produced efficiently.

LED Light Engines from LUMITECH are noted for the fact that with very good colour rendering characteristics, the light colour as well as the brightness can be individually controlled, so that every application can be optimally adjusted. What’s more, compared to conventional light sources, a colour filter is not needed, which gives the LED technology an additional energy-efficiency advantage over classic lighting systems.

Economical and environmentally friendly.

LED Light Engines from LUMITECH require only a fraction of the energy of halogen lamps. This environmentally-friendly handling of our resources provides for considerable savings in electricity costs, while the lower heat build-up of the LEDs reduces the air conditioning expense in buildings. Due to their long service life, LED Light Engines from LUMITECH are virtually maintenance-free.

For its energy-efficient and forward-looking PI-LED^® technology, LUMITECH was awarded the Austrian National Award for Innovation in the year 2007.
